Privacy Policy

Who we are
Doughkeep is operated by Animouf LLC (Wyoming, USA), which publishes sourdoughstarterjar.com and is the party responsible for the data described below. Reach us at [email protected].
What we collect, and when
When you place an order: your name, shipping address, email address and the confirmation that payment succeeded. We need these to send you a parcel and to tell you where it is.
When you email us: your message and your email address, kept so we can reply and so we have a record if you write again about the same order.
Nothing otherwise. Browsing the site collects nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie on any page.
Card details
We never see them. Payment is handled end to end by Stripe, which collects your card data directly and returns to us only a confirmation that the charge went through. Stripe processes that data as its own controller under its privacy policy.
Analytics and cookies
This site runs no audience measurement tool of any kind. The only cookies that may be set are the technical ones Stripe requires to complete a secure payment; they are strictly necessary and carry no advertising identifier.
Who else sees your data
Three parties, each for one job: Stripe for the payment, the carrier for the delivery (name and address only), and our email provider so we can reply to you. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require us to hold them. Support emails are kept for two years after the exchange ends. Anything past those points is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, for a correction, or for deletion — including under the GDPR if you order from Europe, and under the CCPA if you order from California. Write to [email protected] and we will act on it within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not apply a new policy retroactively to data already collected under the old one.
